Rosemary, Pepper and Parmesan Bread Sticks

INGREDIENTS

Egg white
1
Fresh ground sea salt and pepper to taste

tbsp (50 ml)
Fresh rosemary, minced
3/4
lb (340 g)
Package frozen puff pastry, thawed
1/4
cup (60 ml)
Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F (220 C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll pastry into an 8-inch x 10-inch (20 cm x 25 cm) square.
  4. Brush surface with egg white.
  5. Sprinkle with half the topping.
  6. Press topping into dough with rolling pin.
  7. Flip pastry and repeat.
  8. Using ruler, cut dough into 1/2-inch (1 cm) strips.
  9. Twist ends in opposite directions and put on baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until golden and crispy.
