mixed shelled whole nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts)

large egg white

DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 275 F (140 C).
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and lightly grease the foil with butter or oil.
- In a small bowl combine sugar, orange zest, spices, salt and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the egg white and cold water until frothy.
- Add the nuts and stir to coat.
- Coat nuts with spice mixture and spread in a single layer onto the baking sheet.
- Bake 45 minutes or until coating is crisp and golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
