Apple Ginger Tart Filling

Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples, halved, cored, thinly sliced

light brown sugar, firmly packed

DIRECTIONS
- In a small bowl, mix together the reserved crumb mixture and the brown sugar.
- In a large bowl, combine apple slices, sugar, lemon juice and spices.
- Toss to coat the apples.
