As an organization, the Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) actively participates in the Community Fund. The Fund is a coordinated workplace fundraising campaign to support local charitable organizations that strengthen our communities. Fundraising efforts are supported voluntarily by individuals in our organization.

Employees contribute directly and through special fundraising events to the Fund. In turn, 100% of the money raised goes to hundreds of charitable organizations, and most importantly, within the local community. Through the Fund, employees are able to contribute to a wide variety of registered charities in British Columbia.

During the 2008-09 campaign, the generosity of our employees resulted in a record total of $207,000, exceeding the previous record of employee donations by $5,900.
